Things I've learnt this year.

As the year draws to an end,

I have come up with a list of things that I've learnt this year.

This is inspired by Fran.

1. People can be extremely shallow.
I mean, even the closest people to you can be shallow.

And that hurts.

2. You're on your own.
You can't even rely on your family.
Because they are so drowned in their own little worlds to even notice you.

3. You don't know what real heart break is till you have cried for 14 hrs straight,

then 5 months more.

4. How to use a photocopy/fax machine.

5. To drive correctly and properly.

Yes, yes, I know it's a really old age to learn driving.

So screw you!

6. Real friends are those who help you pack your boxes when you're not around.
They help you lie too.
And give you a hug when you cry.

7. People are not to be judged by looks.
Because they are all hiding CRAZY underneath.

The crazy looking ones are actually the sane ones.

8. Other peoples' problems are not as bad as yours.

9. You don't need to starve to be skinny to get a fantastic man.

You're beautiful just the way you are.
And there's someone out there who appreciates that.

10. People will use your name in vain just to get their things done.
And you end up in trouble.

11. A broken heart is never really fixed.
It's just left aside to be forgotten.

12. Don't let anyone bully you.
Unless he's your boss,
then it's different.

Fight back.

Don't be afraid.

13. Do not be afraid to let others know how you feel.
If they're shitty arseholes,
tell them that.

14. Work can get really tiring.

15. If you don't think about something for a really long time,
it'll eventually go away.

16. 8ams have never been so annoying.

I hate waking up to another torturous day.

17. Lunch time has never looked so appealing.

18. It's okay to cry.

19. You know that the person really loves you

when you see him cry quietly by your side when you're sick on the bed.

20. Falling ill while working is very common.

21. Wanting to staple certain people becomes a norm at a workplace.

22. 9pm seems to be a fine and reasonable time to go to bed.

23. It's okay to appear in public with no make up.

no one really gives a damn, you know?

24. It's okay to just ignore calls and not reply texts.

25. You don't find an urge to go online anymore.

26. Politics are those who have too much time on their hands.

27. Government needs to do something about those landslides.

28. When friends need you,
you have to be there.

Cos' no one else is there for them.

29. Men are dicks bastards.

They really are.

30. If your man isn't a dick bastard,
then you're really lucky.

31. It's okay not to do anything on a weekend.

32. Paying bills are a bitch pain.

33. Never tell people your problems.
Because 80% don't care,
and 20% are glad you have them.

34. How to use Microsoft word properly.

35. It's okay to sit in the office and sleep meditate.

36. Voodoo-ing people you hate will become a passion.

it's an instant stress reliever.

37. People can be cruel to you to fulfill their own selfish deeds.

38. What people may think is right for you does not necessarily mean they are right.
What they say does not have to become your reality.
