As the tunes in my Ipod shuffle on their own,
this song
popped up.
I remember how much I loved this song, and I still do.
But usually I skip this song when it comes up, due to personal reasons.
There is just to much memories to this song.
How the lyrics relate to the emotions that occur from it.
This is sung by City and Colour, the lead singer who is Dallas Green. Get it? Dallas is a city and Green is a colour.
Dallas Green on his own is from a group called Alexisonfire.
It's a heavy metal death band that breaks my ears.
But City and Colour mostly plays accoustic music that is mellow.
The cover of my favourite album.
Thi is Dallas Green.
So here goes the whole song,
which meant so much to me.
It used to be on repeat, till I could listen no further.
So there goes my life
Passing by with every exit sign
It's been so long
Sometimes I wonder how I will stay strong
No sleep tonight
I'll keep on driving these dark highway lines
And as the moon fades
One more night gone, only twenty more days
But I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now
And there goes my life
Passing by with every departing flight
And its been so hard
So much time so far apart
And she walks the night
How many hearts will die tonight
And when things have changed
I guess I'll find out in seventeen days
But I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now
My body aches
And it hurts to say
No one is moving
And I wish that I weren't here tonight
But this is my life.
And I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now
And I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now
It's a really great song.
Very depressing though, but the melody is soothing.
Makes a person reminisce of the past.
